Danny is an acclaimed ASL theatre interpreter and translator. This talk will discuss a specific translation he did of the song ‘Sorry/Grateful’ from the musical Company – see the translation here: https://youtu.be/egyoOb0–bWI
Danny will talk about the poetry techniques that were used, and discuss the results of a focus group where he asked Deaf people about the translation.
