Support for Deaf Ukrainians

Dear members,
We are writing to you today because ASLI would like to support the efforts of WFD to collect donations for Deaf Ukrainians in these unprecedented times. If you would like to donate, please see below flyer for more information.
We have also received information from our colleagues in Poland, who are collating a list of interpreter contacts for various language combinations. Please consider adding your name and details to the google form if you feel you could help.
Dear all,
my deaf friends here in Warsaw are organising interpreting help for the deaf Ukrainians coming to Poland. They have set up a list of interpreters who would like to volunteer their services to facilitate communication between the refugees and our institutions. First and foremost they are looking for interpreters, both hearing and deaf, using Russian Sign Language, IS, Russian and English. Could I kindly ask you to share the link to the list with your colleagues who match the profile and might want to volunteer? Thank you!!! ❤ Aleks from Poland https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1NHeRRGx9vnf6Ve-9ImfFrzZu15mykWyz1DhYpoP4Tx0/
We would also like to support our interpreter and translator colleagues in the Ukraine, but as there is currently no formal association, we do not have any contact details. If you know of any organisation or have personal contacts, please do let us know and we will be happy to set something up.

With best wishes

Your ASLI Board
