In September 2022 efsli will be organising its yearly conference in Manchester, United Kingdom in collaboration with ASLI. The theme of the conference will be “#Awkward”.
As in previous years, efsli’s Supportive Attendance Fund would like to make it possible for interpreters from all over Europe to attend this conference.
To guarantee that European sign language interpreters from countries with a low GDP can also participate in the AGM and conference, efsli set up the efsli Supportive Attendance Fund (saf) in 2004. Saf provides financial support primarily to interpreters from European countries with a GDP of € 15.000 or lower, but also interpreters from other European countries are very welcome to apply for a funding too.
If you would like to attend the conference, but do not have enough resources, you can apply to SAF for (partial ) support.
We are happy to receive applications from 1st July onwards and we close the applications on 15th July.
