Working into Conference Level English

Drawing on his extensive conference interpreting experience, Andy will offer insights and practical tips for working as ateam into English with Deaf professionals or academics who regularly give formal conference presentations. This session will also explore successful strategies for working as designated interpreters with Deaf professionals generally. This workshop springs from two chapters that Andy co-authored in the ‘Deaf Professionals and Designated Interpreters: A new paradigm’ volume published by Gallaudet University.

This will be presented in English, BSL interpreting will be available on request (please tick the box when booking).

This is aimed at early career professionals although all are welcome.
