Fearless Feedback: Transform Your Communication and Professional Growth
Online Training for Sign Language Interpreters
Delivered by Glen Barham MBE
Wednesday 26 March 2025
Time: 630pm - 830pm - on Zoom
for Mid South Coast Regional Group members
Giving feedback can be intimidating, and receiving it can be even more so. Whether you’re a seasoned interpreter or just starting out, navigating feedback in the workplace can feel like walking on a tightrope. You want to be constructive and professional, but it’s easy to worry about coming across the wrong way, especially when tensions are high or the conversation feels sensitive. On the other hand, receiving feedback - especially when it’s critical - can be a daunting experience that makes you feel exposed or defensive. But what if feedback didn’t have to feel so uncomfortable? What if, instead, it could be an empowering tool for your professional growth and stronger relationships with colleagues?
Join us for Fearless Feedback: Training for Sign Language Interpreters, an online workshop designed to give you the skills and confidence to handle feedback with poise and professionalism - whether you’re giving it, receiving it, or even asking for it. Through this training, you’ll learn how to turn potentially awkward or difficult conversations into opportunities for improvement, collaboration, and growth.
