Sally Rivers
Sally, an experienced and accomplished professional, brings a wealth of expertise to her role at J3MS Consulting. With a background as a former senior executive in the charity, not-for-profit, and public health sectors, Sally has successfully led transformation and change management initiatives, developed national strategies, and represented UK-wide charity and Public Health Wales at prestigious conferences, training sessions, and media events.
Sally was the National Programme Manager for a £6.87m Home Office funded Police Reform and Transformation Board programme in Wales. During this time, she collaborated with police and criminal justice partners to drive significant improvements and achieve positive outcomes. Sally's dedication to public health is evident in her involvement in advising and supporting local authorities throughout and following the pandemic. As a committed Public Health Manager, she has provided valuable guidance and assistance to ensure the well-being of communities.
Jo Ramessur-Williams
Prior to retiring from the police force, Jo held the esteemed position of Detective Superintendent, overseeing the Protection of Vulnerable People unit (PVPU) within her force. Notably, she was the first female to achieve this rank within her organisation. Throughout the first half of her policing career, Jo served on the front lines, fulfilling various uniformed roles. In the latter half of her career, she transitioned to an investigative capacity where she excelled.
In 2018, Jo was selected for a secondment to Public Health Wales, where she assumed the role of National Operational Policing lead for a substantial Home Office funded program. This ground breaking initiative aimed to adopt a trauma-informed approach to policing vulnerability, while also taking into account the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences.
