ASLI Scotland Training & Winter Social

ASLI Scotland is excited to announce that we are having a training session (on LGBTQ+ Terminology with Leah Francisco) followed by a Winter Social.
Date: Saturday 17th December
Time: LGBTQ+ Training – 2pm-3:30pm; Winter Social – 4pm-6pm
Where: Deaf Action, 49 Albany Street, Edinburgh.

Cost: FREE
Leah Francisco (she/her) will be covering an array of LGBTQ+ terms and how these can be expressed in BSL. She will also discuss gendered language and what alternatives we can use. This training will count towards your structured CPD points.
Winter Social – We invite you all to come and celebrate the end of another year with us. We will be ordering pizzas and the Blackwood bar will be open to buy drinks.
Christmas Bake-Off – We will also be holding a Christmas bake-off, so dust off your aprons, find your favourite wooden spoon, and get baking!
The baker with the most magical and tasty bake will win a prize. If you don’t want to bake anything, you’re still more than welcome to come along and give your own verdicts on the bakes.
