At the end of the day, you will:
Understand the meaning of Dementia
Understand how Dementia affects a Deaf person, the Deaf community and carers
Had the opportunity to discuss language barriers
Developed strategies to use to overcome them.

The Trainers:
It will be taught by Clark and Carolyn Denmark, who have taught BSL for many years at Bristol University, Wolverhampton University and at University of Central Lancashire. Carolyn also was Regional Manager at Remark!’s Midlands office where she ran BSL courses to Level 6. They both are experienced presenters and translators.
Kings Lynn has a good train and bus service. Both stations are just a short walk from the Deaf Centre. If arriving by car, there is a small free car park belonging to the centre, or plenty of space in town car parks.
Drinks and biscuits will be provided. Please bring your own lunch or buy locally.}
