Finance Question Time
26th February 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
FreeThere have been a number of recent conversations in e-forums and discussion groups regarding financial matters that interpreters who run their own business (either as self-employed or as limited companies) should consider i.e. IR35 regulations, allowable expenses and digitisation of financial reporting to name a few. Although freelance work can often bring autonomy and flexibility to an interpreters work there are also some serious pitfalls such as sudden loss of income if you are unable to work and whether insurance to cover a drop of earnings might be a sound investment and where you might start to look for cover of this kind.
Are you struggling to see the wood for the trees? Then why not join London Southeast for a Finance Question Time webinar to help clear your view?
We are joined by Mitch Young – Accountant at Fusion Consulting and Craig Atkins – Independent Financial Advisor at CA Financial Services for an evening of ‘All you wanted to know about finance – but were afraid to ask!’
The event will take place online between 7:00 and 9:00pm. Questions can be submitted to the London Southeast committee by email ahead of the event (email to: southeast@asli.org.uk) and will be discussed by the two experts for all those in attendance. We may also have an opportunity for live questions from the attendees if time allows.
Please take a moment to complete the RSVP for the event so that we can have an idea of numbers as well as send joining instructions for the webinar closer to the date.
We look forward to helping to demystify the financial mist and joining you online.
