The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and the Data protection Act 2018 have superseded the Data Protection Act 1998. Interpreters need to be aware of the data protection principles and their implications. This webinar will look at confidentiality as a legal responsibility and the basic responsibilities an interpreter needs to consider when keeping records and sharing personal information.
This webinar will be presented in English and interpreted into BSL.
