ASLI Scotland Region is hosting a free workshop in Edinburgh: But…what is ASLI? And how can International Sign help us improve our day-to-day interpreting?

FreeAndy Carmichael, Director and Chair of the ASLI Board, and Linda Duncan, Scotland Regional Rep, are hosting a free workshop, that is open to all interpreters, trainees and students.
Morning session – But…what is ASLI?
Andy and Linda will be talking about ASLI: what it is, what it has been doing, and continues to do, for its members and the wider interpreting profession, as well as where it ‘fits’ within the interpreting profession nationally and locally.
Afternoon session – How can International Sign help us improve our day-to-day interpreting?
Andy will deliver a workshop looking at how we can incorporate some ISL into our every day work to help improve our interpreting.
This event is free to all interpreters, trainees and students but numbers are limited and must be booked in advance.
