“It’s all about the prep! Or is it?”

Sarah Gatford and Jenny Koehring will lead an interactive session on preparing for assignments using common and maybe not so common tools. Using real life examples, participants may gain new ideas for finding and using information, tapping into existing knowledge, and formulating questions for the referrer.

Sarah Gatford, RSLI, is an experienced practitioner in a wide variety of settings, such as performance interpreting, mental health, medical and business, and is currently studying for her MSc in Psychology at the University of Derby. Jenny Koehring, RSLI, works freelance in a range of settings, holds an MSc Occupational Psychology, studies for her PhD at the University of Wolverhampton, and is the current chair of the ASLI board.

Specifically aimed at early career interpreters, but open to all. This session will NOT be recorded. Please state your language preference when registering for the event.
