 This webinar aims provide interpreters, especially trainee newly qualified interpreters an understanding of supervision and how it could benefit your interpreting practice. It will focus on the supervisee perspective looking  what being a supervisee means. The things you need to know before starting supervision, what topics you can bring to supervision and how to get the most from it. This webinar is for those that are  thinking about starting supervision.

Gail Ann Dixon is an experienced freelance British sign language interpreter holding a Post Graduate Diploma in British Sign Language / English Interpreting from the University of Central Lancashire. She works mainly in medical, mental health and social care settings. She is a qualified assessor and a NRCPD supervisor of trainees. She holds a level 7 postgraduate certificate  in Clinical Supervision and British Psychological Society (BPS) approved certificates in Clinical Supervision. She provides supervision to sign language interpreters and receives supervision for both her interpreting practice and her supervisor practice. She is passionate about supervision and benefits it brings to her practice, she would like to see supervision become imbedded into interpreting practice.
