London Region – Special meeting re potential changes to membership

Your association is changing!

Following the recent consultation day on 10th June we would like to invite you to an urgent special meeting on 6th July at 7pm. Those that attended the consultation day will be aware of the potential changes to membership proposed by the board. We feel there are many questions left unanswered so have set up this urgent meeting as our opportunity to discuss them.  Marion Fletcher, board member, will be there to field questions.

Some of the points that created most discussion on the day were:

• Mandatory membership with NRCPD
• Eligibility of categories changing e.g full members/trainees
• Students (those with level 3 and above) having similar benefits at very different price points.

This is your ASLI – it is for you! Therefore it is important your voice is heard on these matters before these changes become irrevocable. We urge you to read the board’s proposal and attend the meeting with questions/challenges or if you can’t attend please feedback to us so we can ask your questions/represent your views.
