*Online* Introduction to Medical Terminology delivered by Mediterm Training

ASLI West Midlands have arranged for Mediterm to deliver an online training course for BSL interpreters. The course is suitable for interpreters at all stages of their career or anyone interested in the subject.
The Introduction to medical training will cover the following:
Basics of medical terminology: word building.
Interactive tour of the body: anatomy and physiology
Bones of the skeleton
Drug prescribing abbreviations
Medical abbreviations
Hospital specialities and procedures

The course takes place in two, two hour sessions 9.30am to 11.30am and 12.00pm to 2.00pm on Saturday 15 October 2022 and costs just £50 per person.
There is a limited number of place on the course so please book early to avoid disappointment.
