“Hit and Miss” – lessons learned about running an interpreting business” to cover:
- the B word –business planning for interpreters a few things to think about
- spending, processes and structure
- GDPR – a few possible practical pitfalls from a *non-expert*
- Succession planning
- Time-saving templates
- Supervision
- Questions
Sarah Butt trained and qualified as a solicitor and worked as a private client lawyer specialising in personal tax and succession planning for high net worth individuals and business owners. After a career break, she became the Business and Operations Manager for an education consultancy business before going to university to study interpreting full time in 2015. She has been working as a freelance interpreter since 2018, going self-employed full time in 2019 after a period of combining in-house with freelance work
