22nd February 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

£10.00

We are thrilled to announce that Azaria Francis is extending her online sell-out UK tour and is coming to your London based sofa not once, but twice this Winter season.

Monday 22nd Feb and Monday 1st March. 6.30-8pm. So choose your date by selecting the correct date in the ASLI calendar and book your place. Numbers are limited and this session won’t be recorded.

An information sharing session on race by a black British female interpreter. In her own unique way she will cover some race related terminology, include personal experiences and links to the interpreting profession. Hopefully it will allow you to reflect and see a different perspective.

Azaria has worked with the deaf community for 12 years. Mainly in the domains of health, community and education. For the past 3 and a half years she has worked at a VRS company as a video interpreter, and recently taken on the role as Equality & Diversity Champion.

Session length: 1 hour 30 mins.

The training/ presentation will last for about an hour, allowing for questions and discussions afterwards.
