“Knowsley FACE would like to personally thank Helen for her involvement with the service in raising awareness of Transgender. Helen’s approach is captivating, thought provoking, humorous, insightful, touching, powerful and extremely emotive. Her informative and moving personal accounts engages with individuals to challenge individual beliefs and prejudices. This connection has led to many participants attending awareness sessions to feedback comments such as “I have questioned seriously what I thought I knew – but I now know is wrong in particular my own beliefs, behaviours and attitudes.” This demonstrates the impact of the Transgender Awareness Training delivered by Helen.
