Following a recent re-structure, our Mid South Coast is now managed and run by ALL its members thus giving everyone the opportunity 'give back' and help shape the direction it takes in these ever-changing times. There are just some responsibilities which require to be managed by a named person such as budget holder, incoming emails (first point of contact) and club admin.

Our morning meetings are mostly online with one or two in person meetings throughout the year. In addition to providing peer support, training and networking opportunities, we aim to include at least one annual social event. As our region is quite spread out we look for a venue in a central location to maximise opportunities for members to attend any in person meeting/social.

MSC also organises appropriate Continuing Professional Development training sessions which comply with and count towards the required NRCPD CPD hours. These sessions have routinely been held in the afternoon following a regional meeting but with the re-structure there may also be some online CPD in the evening. As well as inviting professional trainers to facilitate sessions, we also capitalise on the skills and knowledge of our regional members to further develop a variety of areas relevant to the interpreting profession.
