ASLI has held a number of events and conferences, coming together has always been a great foundation of ASLI and our ethos. Whether it's birthday Galas or GoingPro's, ASLI celebrates getting together and learning from each other.

Held in Brighton on 27th September 2025. GoingPro covered 2 themes, 'fundamentals' and 'futures'.
The event had 123 attendees. The Keynote Speakers were Karen Belcher and Jill Henshaw.
The Deaf Interpreters Network held it's conference on 18-19th October in Wolverhampton.
67 Deaf Professionals attended.

The ASLI Conference was held in Blackpool on 19-20th October 2024.
This conference was the first ASLI conference to be delivered fully in BSL. 188 people attended. Held over a weekend, the conference included a consultation session, tram trip, conference and gala awards dinner.

GoingPro 2023 was held in Sheffield, on the 4th November 2023.
144 people attended the event at Cutlers Hall.
The Keynote speakers were Simone Scholl from University of Hamburg and Dr Christopher Stone, University of Wolverhampton.

The Theme was 'Recognition' and the weekend included a conference and gala awards dinner.

ASLI held it's conference and and 25th anniversary on 22 and 23 September 2012 in Bristol.
This was ASLI’s 25th anniversary, and to pay homage to our quarter of a century the theme for this conference was ‘Back to Basics.’
