A framework based in research and literature is introduced to enable participants to engage in constructive dialogue around professional social media use and become actively involved in consciously shaping evolving professional norms. \nCore components of e-professionalism\, such as the concept of small world ethics\, are discussed with explicit applications to the field of sign language interpreting. We will also discuss the concepts of anonymous work and promotion via social media.
