*ONLINE Workshop* Accepting bookings

Are you a student or trainee interpreter?

Are you thinking ‘ I have spent time and money on my training and now I need to start earning?’

In-house posts are few and far between; freelancing could be your only option. But in a Covid-19 world face to face working is limited and remote working comes with many challenges.

How do you know which assignments to accept and which to decline? Are you flying by the seat of your pants? Or building  a professional and ethical practice?

This 2 hour introduction to accepting assignments will:

• Identify what you need to ask before you accept a booking
• Support your Prep-tactics
• Know when to eat chocolate

This will be aimed at early career professionals (TSLI/TSLT/Students/Newly Qualified etc). It will be suitable for lip speakers and other aligned professionals.  Open to members and non members of ASLI.
