Introducing a Two Day Experience for London & South East Sign Language Interpreters facilitated by Jeni Draper and David Wolfenden.
“As busy professional practitioners we rarely have the luxury of taking time out to reflect on what we do, how we do it and the way we come across.
We are offering a 2 day workshop as an opportunity to experiment, to rehearse and to challenge ourselves on both a personal and professional level.
Through a series of exercises and practise techniques we will develop a greater appreciation of our competence and leave with some strategies and practical tips to use when it all starts to go a bit Pete Tong.
Jeni Draper asks us how it feels and David Wolfenden asks us to focus on how it comes across.
David whose mission is to instil confidence in practitioners and Jeni whose mission is to ensure interpreters are in touch with their feelings are excited to present this workshop for the first time.
Together we zoom in on how our humanity affects our practice as interpreters.”
