Join William Everett to explore the unique communication challenges for Deaf people who have ADHD and how interpreters can adapt for clearer, more inclusive access.
This webinar with William will explore the unique challenges faced by Deaf people with ADHD when accessing interpreted communication. William will highlight how ADHD traits such as processing delays, attention struggles, and emotional regulation can create barriers to understanding, even with skilled BSL interpreters. Attendees will gain more insight and understanding straight from Deaf ADHDer for them to potentially adapt their interpreting practice for future neurodiverse Deaf clients, ensuring clearer and more inclusive communication.
This session will be delivered in BSL, and is based on personal experience through the actual Deaf ADHD Lens. William is an advocate for Deaf ADHD and has rich experience of this situation where he struggles a lot.
The webinar will be interactive and William may ask questions, and the session will be recorded.
