"On becoming" facilitated discussion
The bottom line is we are all always in change, in a state of becoming. A lot of the time we don’t notice it till we’re writing up our CPD or doing a wedding speech and we find ourselves reflecting on the length of years we’ve travelled. But, sometimes, life events give us a push – welcome or otherwise – that has us face it in a more immediate way. Either way, we find ourselves reckoning with it and that can often feel destabilising and lonely. This session is a facilitation, a chance to talk through what becoming can mean, how it impacts us as professionals, and how we manage the process. And, hopefully, we’ll leave with a way to begin to answer the questions we ask ourselves -, ‘how do I cope with this?’, 'how do I live with this?', 'how do I accept this?'
