With over 40 years of combined interpreting experience and nearly a decade of facilitating
Open Space events, Anna and Kirsten create an inclusive space where everyone can
contribute and real conversations can flourish.
Grounded in Harrison Owen’s original Open Space Technology, our Assembly follows its
4 Principles and 1 Law, ensuring discussions are participant-led, self-organised, and
genuinely emergent.
Why an Assembly?
As interpreters and translators, we deserve to shape the learning that meets our interests.
We deserve space to gather, reflect, and act on what matters most.
Our Assembly is not a conference.
It’s not a workshop.
It’s a space for us, the interpreting community, to decide the agenda, explore challenges,
and share solutions together.
Why join?
100% participant-led
Equal space for Deaf and hearing professionals
Emergent, energising, inclusive
A forum for conversations that move our work forward
What participants say
“Such an inspiring day”
“So many fascinating ideas… I only wish there was more time!”
“Suitable for interpreters at every stage of their career. The hardest part was choosing
between so many great discussions”
