This will be a 'first steps' session to explore Dean & Pollard's renowned Demand Control Schema. The discussions will centre around creating an EIPI for demands (Environmental, Interpersonal, Paralinguistic, Intrapersonal) relating to a fictitious but familiar scenario such as a healthcare booking. The DCS goes on to develop constellations around DCCRD (Demands, Controls, Consequences, Resulting Demands) and offers an in depth reflective tool, which can be very helpful in our everyday practice.
The session will be conducted in spoken English and can be used for unstructured CPD points based on your own notes and reflections.
