Open Space was inspired by a coffee break: so often the best part of a conference, the coffee break is when you meet people you want to meet; and talk about things that you have a passion for. In an Open Space this concept stretches throughout the whole day.
In an Open Space event the agenda is spontaneously created by the people in the room, therefore the issues that are most important to the people attending will be included in the day.
By deciding what discussions will take place, everyone can be an active participant, not a passive listener. Open Space encourages informal movement around the different discussions so that delegates are not constrained by a formal program, but choose their involvement based on the relevance to them of the conversations.
There is parking available on site, and teas, coffees and snacks will be provided. There is the option to purchase food and drink as well.
This is an event for the Devon & Cornwall region, and attendees will receive 6 Unstructured CPD Points.
Due to popular demand and the success of the previous two Open space events, we are pleased to be welcoming back Anna Curd and Kirsten McCarthy who will be facilitating this event.
