Membership Notification 2026

19 Jan 2026
ASLI Blogs

From 2026, there will be two main changes to the way you renew your ASLI membership:

1. New membership fees

2. Annual membership renewal form

New Membership fees:

ASLI is applying a standard 10% fee increase, in line with our Articles and By-laws.

For existing members, the new fees will come into effect from 1 April 2026, but will only apply at your 2026 renewal date.

This staggered approach allows all members to complete their existing membership period at the current rate.

You will be able to pay monthly or annually.

You can check your renewal date on your profile page – click here for instructions.

Annual membership renewal form:

We are also updating our renewals system.

All members will be required to complete a renewal form each year. This means your membership and payment will no longer auto renew.

This will enable us to ensure member details are up to date and that they are in the correct membership category. You will also be able to review your communication preferences and regional group membership.

Please note: ASLI will take the month's payment before your renewal date, renew on your renewal month to avoid double charge.

What are the new fees?

How will this work?

You don't have to do anything now.  A week before your renewal date you will be contacted and prompted to complete your renewal on the ASLI website.

We will share more practical information in the coming months, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our Membership Officer at membership@asli.org.uk — we’re always happy to help.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and involvement
