Conference |
The ASLI Board and admin team are working hard to put the final details of the 2024 conference programme together and we will be launching the full programme and tickets very soon.
We are pleased today to announce the indicative programme, ticket categories and prices for what promises to be a vibrant mix of talks, workshops and experiential learning.
A consultative event to develop the ASLI strategic plan and discuss motions proposed for voting. Blackpool itself is a vibrant city, and if you come to this free consultation session we have planned a fabulous tram trip to see the famous illuminations!
Saturday is the main conference event, and this year’s conference will have 3 strands: reframe, reset and refresh. Reframe is a traditional presentation of papers with unlimited capacity and no pre-booking required, refresh are skills development sessions with limited capacity and pre-booking required, reset are reflective workshops with limited capacity and pre-booking required. In parallel to the conference programme, there will be an array of stalls, opportunities for networking, a quite space, and wellbeing support. Refreshments and lunch is also provided.
Saturday will culminate in a fabulous a gala dinner with entertainment from Caroline Parker. We will also be presenting our annual FASLI award and tri-annual Ben Steiner award.
Sunday is chilled; if you need to rush home, that's all good. For those who can stay, the is tea and coffee and space for you to have those really valuable conversations without rushing to the next workshop.
